The Academic Excellence Committee, in association with the OBA, organized a three-day Career Guidance Programme from 8 to10 July 2026 at St. Joseph's Pre-University College, Bengaluru for students of the Humanities, Commerce, and Science streams. The programme aimed to provide students with valuable insights into diverse career opportunities and help them make informed decisions about their future. 8th July 2026: Sessions on Commerce and Medical careers were conducted by Mr. Roger Doss (Entrepreneur), Dr. Jacob (Orthopedic Consultant), and Dr. Khaja (Director and Consultant – Pain Medicine), who shared insights into their professions and career opportunities. 9th July 2026: Civil Services sessions were led by Mr. M. N. Anucheth, IPS, Ms. Chinmaiee P., IAS, and Mr. Prashanth Srinivas (Co-Founder and Director, India4IAS), who inspired students with guidance on competitive exam preparation and public service careers. 10th July 2026: Law career sessions were conducted by Mr. Sami Farhat (Corporate Lawyer and Deputy Manager – Legal, Triangulas Business Consulting LLP) and Mr. Ronak Chhabria (Advocate), who introduced students to careers in law, corporate practice, and litigation. The programme was highly informative and inspiring, enabling students to interact with experienced professionals, gain clarity about different career paths, and make well-informed academic and professional choices. It successfully fulfilled its objective of encouraging students to explore options, make informed choices, and build their future.
